& take me and do what You want.

I had a good sleep last night, no nightmares nothing...
Woke up today with a backache...
must be the long hours of sitting up to rush my portfolio..

Before I went to bed last night, pondered upon certain things.
Was reading HT and came across certain lines that kept me thinking.

"Trial purifies our faith...
Victory applies when you have a problem that needs overcoming...
God teaches us His ways and implants His nature through trials..."

What would I say? His promises.
Never failing even at times we are faced with trials and issues in life.
When dreams might tarry, when we feel so tired...
God never forsakes.
That's His promise to me and MY promise to him 3 years back.
"To never forsake and cling on..."

The other day, over one of the debrief for Photog,
Sam casually mentioned that,
"Xinjie, you have talents, but need brush up one giving hard work too!"
How true.
Haha, sometimes I (we) choose to take the easier route out to do things...
Never to realise that sometimes through the longer route we get to learn more.
It's definitely oftenly tougher, but through processes we get mould along the way.
There's no short cut sometimes...
And I was reading the article on Reputation, by Dr A.R Bernard...
Values we live by...
Whats your values?
Our reputation, it reveals our character...
There's the 10 commandments that God gave us,
He didnt give us 1001 rules or to-dos, but it boiled down to 10 commandments.
Yet sometimes, we being so ugly, it's even quite hard to follow just that 10 commandments.
We try, yes we do... but..
Obviously it just shows that we need Him.
Without Jah, I am plain nothing on the inside.
I wont be a loving person, I would be so selfish!
I would not be thankful for simple things in life.

"Talented people are a gift to the world, but it is only character that protects that gift"

This was the line that took me away into my thinking space.
Woah, Character.
It's about being real, being simple, to be more like Him.
Talents are great, but the core is our character.
I still have so much to grow in that area.
It's just like what Samantha mentioned!
Talents, yes its good....
but the hard work and character within its the core, and thats what builds us stronger.

Haha, I am pretty much done with this entry.
I just had to get my thoughts down.

(: Pastors are back from Korea. Huuray.
And tomorrow morning the leaders are gonna meet Garrett (:
